Overview Kibbuse Vocational Training Centre was started in 2000 by Reverend James Joloba Adyeri to offer quality Christian Vocational Training to young people of all backgrounds and from many different locations. Currently Automotive Mechanics, Building, Masonry, Agriculture and Tailoring and Cutting are taught. In addition to the chosen vocational track, students must also study Math, Science and Informational Computer Technology, as well as both English and Swahili. This year, there are 49 students, ranging in age from 13 to 24.
Football Team: For the first time, the students have proper football (soccer) uniforms. Notice the school motto "Never Give Up' is prominently displayed on the shirts.
Tailoring Department KVTC principal Stella Nabitosa has spearheaded the growth of the tailoring department, more than doubling the number of female students. Many of the sewing machines were non-electric pedal machines or in disrepair. Since the time that those sewing machines were purchased, the school has been added to the national electric grid. Although the power can be inconsistent, with the help of a generator and solar power electric sewing machines are practical and more useful for the future of the students. Friends of Kibbuse was able to provide the students with new sewing machines that will enable them to enhance their knowledge and become able to start their own businesses after graduation"

Meet some of the staff of KVTC As a supporter of FOK, you provide the financial livelihood of all these people and their families. Because you help pay their salaries, the school is able to keep tuition low, so that impoverished young people's families can afford to send them to Kibbuse.
